The Powerslide Universal Brake System (UBS) was the first brake made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) that was developed specifically for speed skates. The brake can be used on most speed rails on the market. It is possible to adjust the width. It was specially developed for the installation of a maximum of 4x100mm rails. The brake contains all the necessary hardware for installation and can be attached quickly and easily. The brake pad is made of durable NR SBR material, a mixture of natural and artificial rubber compounds.
