The Nidecker Supermatic is the binding snowboarding has been waiting for: the first universal, automatic dual entry binding. Many companies have tried to crack the code for the perfect step-in binding - without success. Most of these systems only work with special, matching boots, many fail in powder and none are as comfortable and reliable as normal two-strap models. We spent four years working on our version that has a solution to all of these problems. A real game changer. We have developed our special Drop In tech highback for this purpose. When you put your foot into the binding, you automatically activate the heel pedal and fold the highback up. That's it - you can get started.

With a simple lever, it can be folded down again just as quickly and easily and you can get out of the binding. The straps have the same comfortable AuxTech design as our traditional high-end bindings. Once with the Locking Slap ratchets they always fit perfectly. The beauty of this system is that it works with any boat from any manufacturer and there is no cumbersome mechanism that can jam. And if the snow conditions or the slope require it, you can also strap it on like a normal binding. We built the Supermatic using the tried-and-tested materials found in the rest of our collection. The baseplate is made of bombproof, fiberglass-filled nylon and a Slip-N-Grip plate that makes your boot slide even easier into the bindings. A roller on the heel cup ensures that the highback can be opened and closed smoothly. The design of the Nylon Asym Hadron Highback fits perfectly, has a responsive flex and an individually adjustable forward lean. Overall, the Supermatic is a medium-firm binding that our team rated as the most comfortable model ever. We tested them everywhere - from slopes to steep freeride lines to the park - and got feedback from a wide range of riders. The bottom line is: you can completely trust this speed entry system.
