Inspired by the era of the first motorcycles from the early 1900's and the café racer bikes of the 1960's mixed with a touch of California Beach Cruzer. This unique design, combined with our smart technology and state-of-the-art brushless DC rear wheel motor, makes it stand out from the crowd. A timeless means of transport.

The hub motor in the rear wheel provides the necessary torque. This is a very complex, brushless 3-phase electric motor with 48 individual copper coils and magnets. Two versions are available:
Smart Hub: 200W - 400W (max. 25 km/h = Pedelec)
Power Hub: 250W - 1,000W (Pedelec or with the option of an e-moped (approval required!))
The Smart Hub motor can only be used in pedele mode, while the large Power Hub motor can also be used as an e-moped. However, prior approval is required in order to be allowed to drive legally on German roads.
Intelligent Pedal Assist
In addition to the gyro sensor, the CRUZER also comes standard with a complex PAS sensor (Pedal Assist) that measures the speed of pedal rotation. An additional torque sensor can also be retrofitted as an option for some models, which measures the force of the step on the pedal.
The controller calculates these two values and uses an algorithm to offer an absolutely smooth pedal stroke, based on the impulse you give.
Intelligent Regenerative Brake System
We have developed an electronic braking and energy recovery system. Simply put, the Rayvolt brakes work like an extremely powerful dynamo as soon as you apply them.
The intelligence of our regenerative braking system lies in the linking with the EIVA system and the gyroscope, with which the wheel recognizes the surrounding inclination.
When driving downhill, the additional braking energy required is made available by the regenerative engine brake.
